The exact polar opposite of that feeling? The anger that GM’s India division must have felt when it had to call regulators back and admit that employees were rigging inspections.
  • Feds target managers for jail time after major quality disaster. Managers from The Peanut Corporation of America drew the ire of the Feds for allegedly cutting corners to maximize profits. As if that wasn’t bad enough, then they allegedly lied to investigators in an attempt to cover up those actions. Four former leaders of the company were named in a 75-count indictment resulting from a 2009 incident involving salmonella-tainted peanuts and peanut products.
